🏆 Paradise Handball League – Rules & Regulations

Governance

The league is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF) rules, with local adaptations as needed.
The League Committee reserves the right to enforce, interpret, and amend rules for the welfare of the league.

All participants must respect the spirit of fair play, sportsmanship, and discipline.
Players and officials must behave respectfully toward referees, opponents, and spectators.
Accumulated misconduct may result in match bans, fines, or disqualification.
Serious misconduct or repeated offenses may lead to league bans.
All teams must wear matching uniforms with visible numbers.
Any form of match‑fixing, doping, or cheating will result in immediate expulsion from the league.
Violations lead to immediate disqualification.
The League Committee will handle disputes and appeals.

Standard matches consist of 2 halves of 30 minutes each.
There is a 10‑minute halftime break between halves.
In knockout rounds, if tied after regulation time:
- Two periods of 5 minutes extra time will be played.
- If still tied, a penalty shoot‑out will decide the winner.
All matches are officiated by 2 certified referees.
Referees' decisions on the field are final.
Protests must be submitted in writing within 24 hours to the League Committee.
